  • The Shadowserver Foundation took out Organisational Excellence in Information Security. It was recognised for helping to put a stop to high stakes cyber crime in the information age.

  • Electronic Frontier Foundation global policy analyst Eva Galperin received the Best Security Initiative award on behalf of Let’s Encrypt. Let’s Encrypt was recognised for providing a free, automated and open certificate authority which is run for the public’s benefit.

  • SC Magazine Benchmark Awards winner Superpartners CISO Darren Simpson. He was recognised for leading a three year cyber security project to ensure the financial information of 6.5 million Australians was protected
