Holmesglen TAFE chooses NetStar for security and network management contract
NetStar to manage complete voice, data and security networks for three years.
NetStar Group, a leading IP network and managed solutions provider, today announced a contract win with Victoria’s largest college of Technical and Further Education (TAFE), Holmesglen TAFE.
The three-year contract covers management and maintenance of Holmesglen TAFE’s security network and builds on an existing relationship with NetStar to include management of the TAFE’s entire voice, data and security networks for Holmesglen TAFE.
Ron Gascoigne, Manager of Information Technology, Holmesglen TAFE said: “We chose NetStar because of their extensive experience in network management to large educational institutions, as well as the value for money proposition they put forward.

Online analysis and reporting of the network is now enhanced, ensuring increased productivity as well as optimum security reporting.”
NetStar will manage and maintain a total of 142 mission critical devices and provide continuous round-the-clock security monitoring covering Holmesglen’s three campuses and four commercial offices.
