Virtual PBX changes a breeze with new App functionality

MyNetFone, Australia’s leading provider of hosted voice and data communications services, today announced its leading Virtual PBX phone system can now be operated via a mobile App enabling access to the phone system on the go.

The future-proof and scalable Virtual PBX phone system has been the smarter option for business owners to run office phones for over a decade. The launch of the new App is the latest in a string of continual improvements, based on studies of how customer’s uses of phones are changing.

The Virtual PBX App has been developed as more and more businesses, in particular within the small and medium business sector, have become increasingly mobile. As business hours become more flexible and staff embrace remote working, fixed desk phones are no longer suitable as the sole communications base. Replacing a fixed line number with a mobile phone, or remembering to divert phones whilst in the office, isn’t a sustainable solution for most businesses. The app eliminates this problem by allowing users to divert numbers on the go, ensuring they have total control wherever they are.

“The ability for the business to provide one contact number to customers is becoming more important in an age where employees’ tenures at organisations can be quite fluid. The customer base can be jeopardised when the main contact point is via an employee’s personal mobile number,” Rudra Chaudhury, MNF Group SMB Product Manager said.

“Our Virtual PBX App means companies can go back to supplying company numbers instead of having to give out employee-owned numbers. Businesses now have constant control over where an incoming call to those numbers will be forwarded to and can also maintain staff work-life balance by ensuring calls outside of work hours are routed appropriately.”

The App for MyNetFone’s Virtual PBX is available from the Android and Apple stores now.
