Technology innovator Anthony Turco joins IXUP as Head of Product

23 April 2018: Data collaboration company IXUP (ASX: IXU) today announced the appointment of Anthony Turco as Executive Vice President and Head of Product.

23 April 2018: Data collaboration company IXUP (ASX: IXU) today announced the appointment of Anthony Turco as Executive Vice President and Head of Product.

Reporting to Executive Chairman Tim Ebbeck, Anthony will be responsible for IXUP’s product strategy, direction, roadmap, and architecture as well as product management and market positioning. In this new role, Anthony will ensure IXUP’s products continue to innovate whilst always providing secure data in the trusted collaborations they enable. Anthony will work closely with IXUP Founder and Head of Innovation Dean Joscleyne, Head of Development Paul Coe, Head of Sales Rob Mills and Head of Strategic Engagements Tim Scott in taking advantage of the need for secured data collaboration in the market.

Anthony brings over 20 years of technology experience ranging from large-scale multi-national software companies to start-ups. In his most recent role as Head of Product and Chief Technology Officer at Bigtincan (ASX: BTH), Anthony was responsible for defining the technology roadmap and technological vision behind Bigtincan’s market leading product. He also led the daily operations and engineering teams located across the globe.

Prior to joining Bigtincan, Anthony served as Asia Pacific Vice President for LetMobile, an innovative Israeli start-up company with a secure mobile email gateway cloud service. LanDesk acquired LetMobile in 2014.

Anthony also held the positions of Vice President for Cloud Services and Vice President for Identity, Security and Compliance at Novell. Prior to working at Novell, Anthony held leadership roles at a series of Information Security start-up companies including TruSecure, now part of the Verizon Business.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours (Cum Laude) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia and has undertaken studies at Harvard University (Harvard Managementor) and Emergenetics. Anthony will commence with IXUP in Q4.
