IComm’s New Halcyon Change Management Program Enhances Skype for Business Uptake

Compared to customers who have not incorporated the Halcyon Change Management Program into their Skype for Business deployments, IComm customers have achieved an average of 61 percent more conference calls made, 65 percent more files transferred, 34 percent less audio only calls, 26 percent more instant messages sent and 15 percent more applications shared.

IComm, Australia’s leading IT consultancy and integrator of intelligent communications and cloud services, recently launched its new Halcyon Change Management Program, which is already achieving dramatic results in terms of increasing end user uptake of Skype for Business.

IComm customers such as Berry Street, Save the Children, City of Burnside and The Royal College of General Practitioners (RACGP) have all benefited from IComm’s Halcyon Change Management Program. Halcyon was an integral part of the Skype for Business roll-out at Berry Street throughout the three-month stage-by-stage project. The phased deployment meant that IComm was able to communicate, carry out user profiling, recruit adoption champions and undertake user training at multiple sites as part of its Halcyon change management program.

“Berry Street saw this deployment as a change management program rather than a technology project. The communication from Halcyon made sure that everyone knew what was happening and when it would happen,” said Jurgen Schaub, Senior Manager – Information and Systems, Berry Street. “Training was provided to staff through Halcyon and this has allowed our staff to quickly adopt the new Skype for Business technology. Halcyon also held a roadshow at Berry Street to allow staff to ask questions and get more involved in the changeover.

“The feedback from Berry Street staff has been overwhelmingly positive, with no complaints made, which is a huge result for such a widespread technology change,” added Jurgen. “Adoption of Skype for Business has been really enthusiastic and faster than expected.”
