MYOB offers cloud without compromise solution for accounting practices
The market leader for accountants in practice software, MYOB has announced the launch of its MYOB Practice Cloud Partner Program. The program enables accounting firms to move their Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) practice solutions to the cloud via accredited Australian IT/cloud hosting providers.
Thousands of firms can now easily work in the cloud while enjoying the rich functionality, deep integration and true document management of the software they know and love. The move arrives on the back of MYOB announcing it now offers the largest infield support team for accountants.
General Manager, Accountants Division, Adam Ferguson says, “We’re really excited to be empowering our valued accountant clients to move their practice solutions to the cloud. They can do this without compromising on the rich functionality they have come to expect from their MYOB AE or AO software.
“Our accredited hosting providers, CloudIT and Vault, provide accountants the benefits of accessing their data anywhere, anytime. They will also work with us in managing installations, upgrades, and back-ups.
“Our practice cloud partners have proven track records in their field and passed our rigorous accreditation process with flying colours. Accounting firms who are interested in moving to the cloud are in safe, secure hands. They can have peace of mind when it comes to data security and better control of their data.”
Collins Hume Accountants and Business Advisers business manager David Keith says the company has experienced many benefits since migrating to the cloud through an MYOB hosting provider one year ago.
“Perhaps the biggest advantage is being able to access our entire system including Accountants Enterprise and MYOB BankLink from any device at any time. We’re no longer taking a briefcase full of paperwork to meetings - we can access data in real-time while we’re with clients. We advise our clients at any point in time on how their financials are looking, and their current tax, GST and super obligations. Transactions are updated daily and accessed anywhere in the world via the internet. We’ve even saved around 30% off our electricity bill.
“It was easy to shift across thanks to our hosting provider. They made the whole process seamless and always kept us in the loop. They now take care of any system installs and updates, which frees up time for me to focus on the business. I highly recommend working with a reputable IT provider for any business looking to move to the cloud.”
MYOB Practice Cloud Partners also offer additional IT services, including hosting of third party applications, disaster recovery, device support options and differing service level agreements.
