Opinion: Corporate universities: Knowledge is merging

Knowledge Management and further training are merging. This is happening as a result of combining a great variety of learning forms. A good way of doing this is to create a virtual corporate university.
The idea is, however, that this corporate university is not only intended to be used by a company's internal personnel but also by external partners, customers and suppliers. And according to Professor Walter Baets from the Netherlands, there is no sense in giving out certificates in the process.
