now2001 Conference and Exhibition date set

CeBIT first in Australia

now2001 will be held at Sydney's Darling Harbour from 8 - 10 May.

This is the first promotion by now events, the partnership between ATUG and Deutsche Messe AG, that brings the strength and attraction of the CeBIT name to Australia - and the reputation that goes with the biggest IT&T expos held anywhere in the world.

The marketing power of Deutsche Messe's global network of 73 offices will ensure that now2001 will attract an international cross-section of industry executives.

This joint venture means now2001 is being promoted to 150,000 ICT buyers in Australia and, through the worldwide CeBIT network, to 3.5 million IT buyers and in 23 languages.

The conference and exhibition will bring together Australian and global business and technology leaders - trendsetters who are creating the systems and technologies of the new age. More than 70 speakers at conference sessions, workshops, roadshows and a range of less formal networking opportunities will discuss successes and initiatives generated from emerging technologies, market trends and capital investment.

The three day exhibition will cover 10,000 square metres with over 250 exhibitors from Australia, Asia, Europe and America.

The very latest technologies and trends, innovations and solutions, will be on show, including WAP, Bluetooth, GPRS, w-CDMA, and UMTS. Also on display will be innovative optical technologies including Dense Wave Division Multiplex and Optical Switching, as well as IP, ATM and Frame Relay networks, voice-over IP, XDSL, and much more.

For an exhibitor, there will be no better opportunity for doing business.
