Telstra Australia and Australia Post have joined forces to provide business services between the two organisations.
The agreements involve Australia Post providing a range of mail, bill payment and distribution services to Telstra in return for telecommunication services.
The three-year contracts collectively are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and will provide significant opportunities and savings to each organisation, a joint statement said.
Alec Ceselli, Australia Post's general manager of post logistics, said: "Post is also providing a single point of contact for all of Telstra's mobile dealers and retail agencies. Once fully operational, the service will range from the personal delivery of a new mobile phone to a customer's home, to the resupply of phone cards for businesses."
