Last week communications minister, Senator Stephen Conroy, said that up to 70 per cent of Australian will have filtered Internet access as a result of a deal between Telstra, Optus, iPrimus and the Federal Government.
The deal will see ISPs impose web filtering on their customers and the postponement of the Government’s mandatory ISP-level filter for 12 months, but will the Australian people support this deal?
And the results from last week’s poll are now in to the question: Have you ever been hit with a Denial of Service (DoS) attack?
It looks like some of you had some fun of it (we hope our readers don't regularly launch DoS attacks on others ;).
Yes, I get hit all the time: 11%
Yes, but only sporadically: 5%
I've been hit once or twice: 11%
I don't know: 35%
No, I've never been hit: 11%
No, but I frequently launch DoS attacks on others: 27%
