E-business software company AXS-One has made three new appointments to its local senior management team.

Geoff Smith joined ASX-One earlier this month as Australia and New Zealand sales director. Smith hails from UK-based HR software and outsourcing vendor Rebus where he was Australian general manager for five years. Before that he spent 10 years at Digital/Compaq in senior roles in Australia and New Zealand, most recently as national business manager for corporate solutions.

Smith has more than 25 years IT industry experience in business development and sales, strategic planning and change management, according to AXS-One. He will work with ASX-One's local customers including Perpetual Trustees and Pfizer, a company spokeswoman said.

Andrew Kearney has been appointed as professional services director for Australia and New Zealand. He was formerly Australian professional services director at German document solutions company IXOS, leading delivery of pre-sales, consulting, training and post-implementation support to trans-Tasman clients. Before that, Kearney spent three years with SAP, managing its software implementation and maintenance for clients.

Kathleen Phillips has rejoined the company as client services director for Asia after a three-year break in the US. A nine-year veteran with the vendor, spending most of that time in Australia, her most recent role was as principal in global advisory services, in which she provided business improvement consulting services to enterprises in various markets. Previously, Phillips was director of global finance and operational systems at management consultancy Mercer Consulting Group, responsible for aligning IT strategy to business and operations.
