PeopleSoft yesterday announced its acquisition of Advance Planning Solutions in a move that's aimed at helping the software company improve its Internet-based business modeling software.
As part of the deal, Advance Planning Solutions (APS) CEO Chuck Teller will become PeopleSoft's general manager of Enterprise Performance Management, it's analytics product group. APS Chief Technology Officer Marshall Miller will become PeopleSoft's vice president of development of Advance, APS's product platform.
The merger was approved by the boards of both companies and closed on April 30, the companies said. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
"PeopleSoft's integrated suite of eBusiness applications offers our customers immediate access to rich, mission-critical data that every business needs," Craig Conway, president and CEO of PeopleSoft said in a statement issued yesterday.
