AT&T on Monday teamed up with Florida-based e-commerce company CommerceQuest in a deal that has AT&T providing IP messaging and other services for online trading communities.
Specifically, AT&T will fuel CommerceQuest's business-to-business e-commerce applications with EDI (electronic data interchange) network services, in addition to IP messaging capabilities.
Under the alliance -- a value-added reseller agreement -- AT&T beginning in June will start offering CommerceQuest's EnableNet service.
EnableNet is billed as a transactional messaging capability that spans diverse platforms, protocols, and geographical areas, according to company officials.
