Sierra Atlantic Unveils Web Integration Offerings

BOSTON (05/23/2000) - Sierra Atlantic, a Fremont, California, Internet professional services firm, today will announce three new offerings designed to help old-line manufacturing, telecom and financial services companies integrate Web-based applications with their legacy systems.

The new offerings are bundles of popular packaged software and services for customer management, order management and collaborative manufacturing applications. Early customers include General Electric and ReSourcePhoenix.com, an accounting services online marketplace.

"The idea is to accelerate brick-and-mortar companies to become brick-and-click companies," says Marc Hebert, president of Sierra Atlantic. The new products are "templates that we wrap our services around. The real value for companies is that they have some amount of code that's reusable."

The eRelationship Management offering uses software from Broadbase and Rubric.

The Order Management offering is built on BroadVision's platform, and the Collaborative Manufacturing offering employs software from Agile and Oracle.

Pricing for each offering starts at $500,000.

Sierra Atlantic was founded in 1993 and has 350 employees in Silicon Valley, India and Singapore. The company recently raised $17.4 million in venture capital funds and plans to go public later this year.
