The Bug Report

SAN MATEO (04/18/2000) - Apple Computer Inc. Macintosh OS 9.0.4 includes an updated version of Open Transport 2.6.1. This new version fixes a bug that previously caused a crash when Open Transport was receiving empty packets on UDP (User Datagram Protocol) port 49152.

Lotus Notes and Domino 4.6.7 Quarterly Maintenance Release fixes a bug that sometimes prevented you from going to long URLs if you were using Netscape Navigator as your Internet browser.

Novell ZENworks for Desktops 2 Support Pack 1 fixes the problem in Workstation Management that was previously preventing NetWare Administrator from finding the DMWORK.DLL file on Windows 95-based workstations. The Support Pack can be downloaded from When using iPlanet Web Server, Enterprise Edition 4.1, you may get an error message if you go to either the Administration Server or the Server Manager, then go to the Preferences tab, and then turn on Encryption using default settings. The message reads: "Commit.exe Application error. The instruction at '0x780001146' referenced memory at '0x00661006d.' The memory could not be 'written.' Click OK to terminate the application." When you click OK, you will then be told, "Success! Your changes have been saved." After doing this, iPlanet says to check that the server has restarted. Do this by going to the Shut Down or Server On/Off page at the Preferences tab. You can also do this from the Service Control Panel.
