The Bug Report

SAN MATEO (04/21/2000) - Microsoft Corp.: Some users of Windows 2000 Professional, Server, and Advanced Server may have problems when opening files that were sent using Infrared File Transfer (IRFTP.EXE). When the file is received, the access rights are set to Power User, so regular users will see this message: "Access to the specified device, path or file is denied." As a work-around, users needing these files should be promoted to Power Users.

Microsoft: In Windows 2000 Professional and Server, if you have an LS-120 floppy disk drive, the "Send To:" option on the context-sensitive menu may not work. If you right-click a file and try to send it to A:, you may see this error message: "A:\ is inaccessible. Incorrect Function." Instead of using "Send To:," Microsoft says to choose "Copy," then right-click the A: drive, and then choose "Paste."
