Tandberg Completes Breece Hill Deal

FRAMINGHAM (03/03/2000) - Tandberg Data Inc. yesterday finalized its acquisition of Breece Hill Technologies Inc., a Boulder, Colo.-based company that develops automated tape library systems based on DLT tape products.

In December, Simi Valley, Calif.-based Tandberg announced its intentions to buy Breece Hill for $5.9 million. No definitive date has been set for the takeover.

The agreement is subject to approval from the general assembly of Tandberg Data ASA, the Oslo, Norway-based parent company that owns Tandberg Data Inc.

Tandberg supplies tape drives and tape storage products, including Travan and DLT, to resellers.
