ASX-listed Web publishing software developer HarvestRoad has announced its acquisition of Sydney-based electronic document management software company Cyber International.
The new deal will see HarvestRoad take control of Cyber International's enterprise intranet content management capability designed for enterprise and government intranets.
Pre-existing Cyber International clients include Otis Elevators, Northern Territory Health, St Vincents Hospital, Governor Generals Office, Department of Health (NSW), Penrith Council, Department of Housing (NSW), Douglass Hanly Moir, Department of Urban Affairs and Planning and ACT Dept of Housing.
Despite a Sydney location, Cyber International also has a presence in the ACT and SA.
According to HarvestRoad managing director Grame Barty his company and the newly acquired Cyber International "fit very closely with our culture and product philosophy".
Barty hopes to use the acquisition to strengthen the HarvestRoad presence in Sydney and Canberra.
It seems the purchase has the blessing of both sides with Jamie Street, Cyber International managing director commenting that the take over will result in an increased investment in product development and commercialisation.
