Swedish Gov't Privatizes 30 Percent of Telia

LONDON (06/13/2000) - Due to a reporting error, the amount of money the Swedish government hoped to raise by selling stock in state-owned telecommunications giant Telia AB was described inaccurately in a story that ran on the wire earlier Tuesday. The IPO (initial public offering) was expected to raise 76.6 billion krona (US$8.8 billion). The story has been corrected on the wire.
