Brief: Color Browser Set for Palm

SAN MATEO (08/18/2000) - EdgeMatrix Pte. Ltd. has launched what it believes is the first color WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) microbrowser for the Palm Inc. operating system for PDAs (personal digital assistants) and handheld computers. Called WAPman Color, the product is an upgrade to the company's WAPman microbrowser, of which more than 100,000 copies have been downloaded, the company said in a statement. WAPman Color is also available for Microsoft Corp. Windows-based PDAs. All versions of WAPman Color will be made freely downloadable from the EdgeMatrix Web site.
