WASHINGTON (08/08/2000) - GovConnect Inc. has partnered with Interactive Intelligence Inc. to offer an integrated customer service platform to handle all types of communication - from phone calls and faxes to e-mail and Web chats.
The Access Net customer service product will include GovConnect's back-end database and hosting tools and Interactive Intelligence's communication management.
"With the Internet growing and governments striving to improve customer service, we've come in with one integrated, total customer service solution," said Dan Williams, senior call center consultant at GovConnect.
By automating their customer service functions, Williams said, governments can better serve constituents with more efficient customer service and save taxpayers money.
The product is being marketed to local, state and federal governments. It is in use in Michigan, Nebraska, Vermont and Ohio.
