Brief: Microsoft Names Head of .Net Group

FRAMINGHAM (08/11/2000) - Microsoft Corp. launched its .Net division this week and announced that Bob Muglia will head the .Net services unit as group vice president. Muglia will focus on the development of software, subscription services and interface design for the .Net division, Microsoft said in a statement. The .Net services division will be part of the new personal services and devices group headed by Rick Belluzzo, Microsoft said.
