CHA increases accessibility to partners

Local distributor CHA is moving its Sydney office from Hornsby to Lane Cove so it can be closer to the bulk of its resellers and vendors.

The move is symbolic of CHA's new business model roll out, which will see an expansion of the current reseller program as well as new aspects to distribution not seen before in Australia.

"Features of this move of our sales office and warehouse to Lane Cove are the new demonstration room which is actively being supported by all our leading vendors including Toshiba, Acer, QMS, Xircom and Iomega," said Peter Thatcher, managing director of CHA.

"We invite resellers to make use of these new demonstration facilities. Simply call to arrange a suitable time."

According to Thatcher, key performance indicators for the office include customer satisfaction metrics and quicker response times, encompassing electronic as well as telephone modes.

The facility also sports enhanced use of technology to deliver added value under CHA's new Reseller Assist Program, which will be introduced in NSW before its national adoption in the coming months.

The Sydney office, which will be operational as of August 31, will retain the sales, business development, sales support and warehousing functions, while in-bound telephone duties will be relocated to the head office in Melbourne.
