IBM Tags Onto Singapore Air mySAP Deal

In a deal worth in excess of $S100 million IBM Global Services has been selected as integrator for the implementation of mySAP across the Singapore Airlines Group (SIA).

Consolidating numerous disparate systems into one common e-business platform, IBM will undertake the implementation in stages over a three year period.

It is the largest integration services project IBM has ever undertaken in Singapore andthe ASEAN region.

An IBM spokeswoman said the contract agreement includes the purchase of IBMservices and associated software and is aimed at supporting the deployment of SIA'se-business initiatives.

The SIA Group includes Singapore Airlines, SIA Engineering Company, SingaporeAirport and Terminal Services and SIA Properties.

IBM is partnering with SAP, Druid, Origin and Arthur Anderson on the implementation.
