Tech Pacific puts on the entertainment

Having recently created a new Entertainment business unit to deal with its interactive computer games category, Tech Pacific has appointed Jeremy Hilton as the division's business manager.

Tech Pac claimed the Australian computer games market is growing at around 20 per cent per annum and is currently worth $500 million.

Formerly the Asia Pacific sales and marketing manager for Mattel Interactive, Hinton said Tech Pacific has already been appointed as the exclusive distributor for big-name games developer Interplay, effective from October 1.

"We expect to be able to announce further distribution agreements with other games publishers," Hinton said.
