IBM and CorVu Sign Joint Deal

IBM Australia and CorVu have formed an alliance to jointly market and sell performance and data management solutions.

It allows IBM to market CorVu's business performance management software in conjunction with its data warehousing, analytical and business-based intelligence solutions to its established customer base.

IBM Australia's data management software manager Peter Graham said it will allow companies to stay ahead of the competition by effectively managing strategy execution in critical areas such as e-business, global supply chain, virtual organisations, globalisations and acquisitions.

"One of the most important areas in corporate performance management is translating strategy into operational activities, programs and projects," he said.

"Our customers now have access to specific information that would normally have been difficult to extract from their large volumes of operational and warehoused data."
