Optima appoints Sales and Marketing Director to drive brand awareness

<p>SYDNEY, Australia - Optima Technology Solutions (ASX:OPI), Australia's largest computer manufacturer, has appointed Charles Yan to the position of Sales and Marketing Director to raise Optima's brand awareness and drive local market growth.</p>
<p>With more than 20 years' experience in IT, Yan brings a wealth of industry knowledge to this newly created position. He most recently worked as the Asia-Pacific Marketing Director for NCR and has also held senior sales and marketing roles with Compaq and Digital.</p>
<p>In his new role, Yan will develop and implement marketing and sales strategies aimed at raising the profile of Optima's product and service offerings, and manage all of its sales and marketing teams.</p>
<p>"Optima is the largest computer manufacturer in Australia, with the capacity to offer customers customisable solutions supported by a nationwide supply and service network," said Yan. "By using this unique market position and leveraging our core competencies, I plan to provide the direction required to take Optima to the next level of business growth."</p>
<p>Yan has a degree in business administration and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has worked extensively throughout Asia-Pacific, including stints in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, ensuring his comprehensive understanding of local and regional markets.</p>
