Coca Cola Amatil has outsourced network monitoring, management and support of its data communications network to Dimension Data. The companies have inked a two-year, managed services agreement, with an option to renew the contract for another three years.
Sydney-based Coca Cola Amatil's infrastructure projects and technology manager, Richard Jones, said by consolidating its managed services the company will have a single point of contact, one set of procedures, and one billing system to deliver economies of scale in pricing. "The online service portal provides a transparent, online, real-time view of our network and access to tailored reports. Our service delivery manager ensures that potential problems are resolved either before they arise or as quickly as possible," he added.
