Awards pinpoint IT's role in logistics, supply chain

IT's ability to add value will be a focal point of one of the prizes to be presented at the 2003 National Logistics and Supply Chain Awards in November.

Logistics Association of Australia, which sponsors the awards, is calling for nominations in four categories: information management, manufacturing logistics, environment excellence in logistics and the supply chain, and supply chain management.

Nominations for the awards, which were established to promote and recognise excellence in the logistics industry, close on August 18 with the winners to be announced at the Sheraton Hotel Brisbane on Tuesday November 25.
