DST Billing adds Three New Modules to its HiAffinity Customer Care and Billing System

<p>Sydney 3 July 2003 - DST International Billing (DST Billing) – the leading provider of innovative customer management and open billing solutions to the utility industry – today announced the launch of three new modules for its HiAffinity Customer Care and Billing system. The new modules are eFile, Workflow and CorrGen. These new modules of eFile, Workflow and CorrGen extend HiAffinity’s existing functionality by the integration and use of established, world-class customer management software, already in use at more than 100,000 workstations worldwide.</p>
<p>HiAffinity eFile provides a fully integrated electronic filing system that delivers full customer contact capabilities and removes any delays or errors in processing due to tracking paper files around the business. The eFile module is launched directly from the HiAffinity processing screens, from which it is possible to view all inbound and outbound customer correspondence, together with summaries of telephone calls. This drastically reduces the cost and impact of managing the paper that supports the business processes as well as the overhead of customer callbacks. HiAffinity eFile provides the powerful desktop solution customer service representatives (CSRs) require to provide outstanding customer service.</p>
<p>HiAffinity Workflow adds true work management capabilities to the HiAffinity eFile component. Workflow is accessed directly from the HiAffinity processing screen, providing fully automated back-office functionality. This enables clients to actively manage and automate work as it flows around front- and back-office functions. In addition, Workflow provides the tools required to react to new operational requirements, such as delivering work to the most appropriately skilled personnel and automatically managing operational efficiency. HiAffinity Workflow also contains compliance and control functionality, giving users the power to control, manage and process work in the most productive and efficient manner.</p>
<p>HiAffinity CorrGen automates the process of generating a letter in response to customer requests or other business requirements. CorrGen is fully integrated to HiAffinity and Microsoft Word so that relevant data regarding a specific customer contact is automatically transferred to Microsoft Word for letter generation. This new module enables quality correspondence to be generated as part of the HiAffinity Workflow business process; a copy of the letter will be automatically stored within HiAffinity eFile for a complete customer contact history. The use of HiAffinity CorrGen significantly enhances the images of organisations by creating well laid out customer correspondence</p>
