Struggling broadband Internet provider Excite@Home said Monday its executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) resigned from the company.
In a brief statement, the Redwood City, California-based company said Mark McEachen had resigned "and will leave the company to pursue other opportunities, effective September 9, 2001."
McEachen joined the company as executive vice president and CFO in July last year, according to Alison Bowman, a spokeswoman for the company. The company is already looking for a replacement but is not able to estimate when it will fill the position, she added. There are no other vacant executive level positions at the company at present, she said.
