Qantas College Online has signed a three-year agreement with education and training company NETg, for the supply and management of desktop computer application training services.
Qantas staff globally will be able to access an online library of 35 desktop courses ranging from Microsoft Office to Lotus Notes, as part of the deal.
NETg, part of The Thomson Corporation, will provide pre-and post-assessment in the form of electronic and industry standard assessment tools enabling Qantas to assess the current skill level of users.
The agreement will also see NETg implement a reporting system that aligns itself with the Qantas Training Administration System to facilitate reporting and administration of all online training initiatives.
NETg will also provide a support structure including access to 24-hour e-mail, fax and voicemail response to all Qantas staff worldwide, 24x7online mentoring, 24 hour response to all support issues and maintenance of an administration system with 98 per cent response and resolution standard for all support issues.
