McNealy on whistlestop visit to Sydney

Scott McNealy, chairman, president and CEO of Sun Microsystems, will be in Sydney later this month, according to the Australia Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC).

Sun sources have confirmed the visit describing it as "literally a day and a half", but refused to enter into speculation about the purpose of McNealy's trip; however, a meeting with IT Minister Senator Richard Alston has been ruled out.

McNealy will address a working brunch at the ballroom of the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre South on Tuesday March 25, for which the attendance fee is $135 or $95 for AICC members.

McNealy's arrival follows in the steps of recent moves by Sun to make major announcements at regular quarterly intervals.
