NetLedger, makers of the Oracle Small Business Suite, unveiled new advanced CRM features Monday in its NetCRM and NetSuite products designed to allow enterprises to more effectively run their front- and back-office operations.
The new features extend NetLedger's integrated application services to small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) needing sophisticated sales management, order placement, customer service, marketing automation, Web publishing, and accounting features, according to company officials.
Companies will benefit from greater visibility and accuracy in their sales forecasts coupled with the ability to measure sales team performance, said Zach Nelson, NetLedger president. In addition, NetLedger's seamless integration of CRM with back-office accounting, inventory, and shipping functions boost the offering's appeal to the mid-market, he added.
"More mid-market companies can manage a more complex sales process and sell to larger organizations," Nelson said. "Once you move a deal through various stages of the pipeline, they can be weighted as to the likelihood of actually closing those deals. Those feed the forecast. We have sales orders as a part of our product. You can also track actuals in the forecast."
New features also include competitor tracking to monitor the competitors a user company typically sees in the sales process along with their strengths and weaknesses and quota management to allow sales representatives to know the numbers they need to hit.
In addition, from within each customer record users of NetLedger products can now create and send e-mail messages on the spot using or editing a template with a standard message and then personalizing it with data about the customer. Once sent, a copy of the message is saved for historical record including any replies received.
The new features are available now.
