Update: Red Hat updates Kerberos to fix FTP flaw

Red Hat has updated its Linux packages versions 6.2 to 8.0 to fix a vulnerability found in the Kerberos ftp client distributed with the Red Hat Linux krb5 packages.

The vulnerability could be exploited to write files outside the current directory and potentially to execute arbitrary code on the affected machine.
