Telstra has confirmed that its chief technology officer, Vish Nandlall, has left the telco.
The telco issued a short statement on the executive’s departure that said:
Vish Nandlall has left Telstra after serving as the company’s Chief Technology Officer for the past 21 months.Nandlall joined Telstra in late 2014.
Vish launched the Gurrowa innovation co-creation lab in Melbourne, led Telstra Big Data and Machine Learning research and development, developed an Internet of Things incubator to develop medium term consumer solutions and established our joint venture with Pivotal Labs.
The Australian, which first revealed Nandlall had left Telstra said that “the telco took action against Mr Nandlall after he was found to have falsified his CV and allegations of plagiarism of presentation material”.
IT channel publication CRN additionally noted that The CTO’s entries no longer appear on Telstra’s Exchange blog.
