AT&T has announced its first plug-in vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, the ZTE Mobley, which will go on sale this Friday for $100 will no annual service commitment.
Chris Penrose, AT&T senior vice president for IoT, said the device is aimed at professionals as well as families who hope to be connected to the Internet while on the go.
Mobley relies on a Qualcomm MDM9215 processor and connects to the AT&T 4G LTE network.
Customers can purchase the Mobley for $100 without an annual contract, or for $0 with a two-year service agreement. Those two-year agreements include the Mobile Share Value plan, which will increase by $10 a month for the Mobley or the DataConnect plan, with a monthly charge starting at $20 for 1GB of data.
