E-business applications provider PeopleSoft has appointed David Webster as managing director for its Australia and New Zealand operations.
PeopleSoft aims to build on its existing presence and expand its market share, focusing on customer relationship management (CRM). Responsible for the company's strategic growth and business development within Australia and New Zealand, Webster hopes to establish the company as the leader in the collaborative enterprise applications space, and one of the top two CRM players by the end of this year.
Andrew Barkla, PeopleSoft Asia-Pacific vice president, said tt has taken a number of months to find a person of David's calibre and talent to fill this position.
Webster joins PeopleSoft from QSP Group Asia Pacific where he was managing director. Previously, Webster spent 12 years at Silicon Graphics where he held a number of positions including sales director, marketing director, and managing director ASEAN.
