Objectif wins Dutch extension

Listed telecommunications software developer Objectif Telecommunications has won a contract extension with Dutch carrier KTN Telecom. Under the terms of the new deal Objectif will provide extended management capability for KPN's Freephone and Value-Added Intelligent Network Services in the Netherlands. The contract is expected to be worth more than $A1 million this year alone.

The contract is the sixth Objectif has entered with KPN Telecom since January 1998, when it began work on the OMS project. "This new contract represents a further strengthening of the already strong relationship that exists between the two organisations," acknowledged Jeff Mills, CEO of Objectif. He explained that the negotiations for the contract were conducted by the company's Dutch regional office, which was set up in 1999 to provide integrated consulting development and support services. "It represents real evidence of Objectif's growing international sales capability," Mills said.
