Hansen's call centre manager finds US user

Software developer Hansen Technologies, which specialises in the development of billing systems for telcos and utilities, has won a contract to supply its ResourcePro call centre management system to Southwestern Bell in the US. The three-year contract requires the delivery of the system to several call centres.

Southwestern Bell is a subsidiary of SBC Communications, which has more than 61 million access lines in the US. "We are delighted that a premier US telecommunications provider has chosen Hansen to deliver this solution to their call centre operations," said Andrew Hansen, managing director of the Sydney developer.

He explained that ResourcePro helps managers optimise staffing efficiencies and monitor performance each day. The system also allows for the analysis, forecasting, administration, scheduling and resource planning of call centre operations, Hansen added.
