Many companies move too slowly for today's top executives, according to a recent survey of more than 3000 business executives conducted by the Net Futures Institute.
Most business executives, 69.7 per cent, believe their organisations move too slowly, while 23.8 per cent said their companies move at just the right pace, according to the survey. Only 6.5 per cent said their organisations move too quickly.
The survey was conducted with Net Futures Institute members, who represent senior management of more than 1500 companies worldwide, including more than half the Fortune 100 companies.
"These results suggest that top executives are frustrated at their inability to generate change at their organisations," said Chuck Martin, chairman and CEO of the Internet research firm.
