AAPT expands broadband capabilities

AAPT has ramped up its broadband capabilities throughout Australia with the launch of its digital subscriber line (DSL) service and expansion of its fixed wireless and fibre optic networks.

Using a combination of technologies including DSL, local multipoint distribution service (LMDS), fibre and microwave, services are now available in more than 30 CBD, metropolitan and regional business locations in Australia.

David Bedford, chief operating officer for AAPT, said: "As well as deploying our own infrastructure, AAPT will also pursue wholesale arrangements with other broadband providers to best meet the need of our customers."
