Aspley switches on to the NBN

By mid-2016, construction of the NBN will have commenced or been completed on 934,300 premises in Queensland

Aspley in Queensland has been switched on to the National Broadband Network (NBN).

A total of 5700 premises can sign up for NBN plans in the area, 16km north of Brisbane.

NBN Co has now started fibre construction on another 5500 premises in the Aspley area, with another 2800 homes and businesses expected to join the fibre optic network shortly.

Construction for the NBN has commenced in Bridgeman Downs, Carseldine and Zillmere.

By mid-2016, construction of the NBN will have commenced or been completed on 934,300 premises in Queensland.
