Optus has revealed “naked” broadband and fixed phone plans for customers who don’t want to bundle their phone and Internet plans.
The broadband-only plans cost $55 per month for 50GB, $75 for 120GB, $85 for 300GB and $100 for 500GB. On the 50GB and 120GB plans, Optus adds $90 in fees for connection and delivery.
For customers that just need a landline, Optus will offer plans between $22 and $60 per month. The high-end plan includes unlimited standard national and mobile calls, while a $45 plan has unlimited calls only to local and national numbers and Optus Mobile.
Optus said the $22 plan is ideal for businesses that need a second line for a fax machine.
Existing Optus postpaid mobile customers who pay $30 per month or more will receive a 10 per cent discount on the naked broadband and phone plans, Optus said.
In addition, Optus customers signing up for the NBN for the first time will receive a 10 per cent discount off broadband or phone access fees when bundled with an Optus postpaid mobile plan of $30 or more, the telco said.
