We're not computer geeks, say 'wisdom seekers'

It's not about the software, it's about the getting of wisdom, according to organisers of a three-day national conference at the Gold Coast's Seaworld Nara Resort starting Sunday (July 27).

The organisers say they are beyond information systems and beyond even knowledge creation - they are seeking a new age of wisdom.

Transformational Tools for 21st Century Minds is the first national conference to focus on creative thinking and collaborative groups in tandem with the rapid development of electronic meeting and learning systems.

Collaborative groups can now use electronic support tools across the internet to ensure truly global possibilities.

The conference is hosted by Group SolutionS at CQU's Faculty of Informatics and Communication with support from the Australian Computer Society, Knowledge Creation Press and Zing Technologies.
