Enterprise relationship management wins fans

PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sequent and Siebel have joined forces to provide "best of class" enterprise relationship management (ERM) solutions, putting significant weight behind the ERM movement.

ERM and it's cousin, customer relationship management (CRM) have been the subject of much vendor hype of late, but officials from each of the companies are convinced Australian enterprises are ready to adopt the methodology.

The alliance will combine PwC's consulting expertise with Sequent's NUMACentre platform and its ERM Competency Centre and Siebel's sales, marketing and service applications.

David Rose, management consulting services partner at PwC, said already a large local telecommunications carrier had committed to a pilot ERM program.
