Computer Associates International Inc. and WebMethods Inc. announced a partnership on Monday at the CA World conference in Orlando, Fla.
The two companies will connect Islandia, N.Y.-based CA's Unicenter infrastructure management solution and the WebMethods integration platform. The result, according to the companies, will be the ability to manage connected systems via one interface.
In addition, WebMethods on Monday announced an update to its integration software that includes Business Integrator, a "dashboard" for managing business processes, according to company officials.
"One of the goals was to make it usable by business analysts that don't write code," said Scott Opitz, WebMethods' vice president of strategic planning and product marketing.
