Boeing extends contract with Siemens PLM Software

The new agreement is set for 10 years

Boeing has extended its contract with Siemens PLM Software, signing a new 10-year agreement to continue the use of Siemens’ product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions.

The aerospace company will continue its use of Siemen PLM Software technology at Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Defence, Space & Security.

The company cited innovation, open architecture, proven performance and scalability as key reasons for the contract extension.

“Boeing and Siemens PLM Software have enjoyed a long working relationship, and we are pleased to extend our contract to take advantage of new innovations to enhance our global capabilities,” Boeing vice-president of IT product systems, Nancy Bailey, said in a statement.

“The openness of the Siemens PLM Software will continue to support and help us improve… creating additional business value for our company.”
