ComOps to expand reseller program

ComOps (ASX:COM) will appoint more channel resellers for its business software, and provide a wider range of support and incentives

Business software developer ComOps (ASX:COM) plans to expand its channel reseller program, appointing more partners in Australia and Asia.

The company revealed plans to enter new channel partnerships in Australia and New Zealand, and provide platform for new partners in Asia and China.

Channel partners will sell ComOps' salesforce automation, business intelligence and OHS and risk management software.

They will be split into three tiers, with the highest level responsible offering support and implementation as well as managing sales.

ComOps said depending on the tier, it will provide its partners with support ranging from sales and implementation training, marketing support, account management, services revenue and complementary software licenses.

General manager, Daniel Sheahan, said the company plans “to use the reseller program to grow our business through enhanced relationships and incentives with our channel partners.”

In April, ComOps revealed that Sheahan will take over as CEO of the company after current chief Richard Bradley retires in July 2012.

COM shares closed unchanged on Thursday at $0.029
