<p>Teradata has been chosen by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as a subcontractor for the Defense Intelligence Information Systems Integration and Engineering Support Services Contract 3 (DIESCON 3).</p>
<p>The five-year contract authorises Teradata to provide hardware, software applications and professional services, to help with tactical and strategic decision-making in areas such as Homeland Security, bioterrorism, supply-chain management, logistics, risk management and financial oversight.</p>

<p>DAYTON, Ohio 30 April 2004 – Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), has been chosen by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as a subcontractor under the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded to the Titan Corporation for the Defense Intelligence Information Systems Integration and Engineering Support Services Contract 3 (DIESCON 3). The five-year contract authorises Teradata, in conjunction with Titan, to provide the DIA and Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) community with hardware, software applications and professional services, including Teradata® data warehouses.</p>

<p>This is the first time Teradata has competed for a share of the DIESCON business. Titan has an established track record of successfully supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency, national intelligence agencies, commands and services as a prime BPA holder on DIESCON II, according to Gene Ray, Titan’s president, chairman and chief executive officer.</p>
